Dr. McClure's Bio
Dr. McClure is a California-licensed psychologist (PSY 13572) who has been practicing in Roseville, California, since 1985. His practice incorporated in 2019 as SUNRISE PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, A Professional Corporation. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychology (ABMP) and served on the board of directors for the Academy of Medical Psychology, including a four-year term as president.
Dr. McClure is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) with over 30 Years of Clinical Expertise in the California Workers’ Compensation system. He provides objective, evidence-based psychological evaluations and produces timely, comprehensive QME reports for injured workers, attorneys, and claims administrators.
For more than three decades, Dr. McClure has specialized in psychological assessment, trauma-related conditions, PTSD, stress-related injuries, and medical-legal evaluations. As a California Qualified Medical Evaluator, he delivers clear, defensible reports grounded in clinical expertise and Workers’ Compensation law.

The primary focus of Dr. McClure's practice is clinical psychology. As a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) in California, he provides care for injured workers within the state’s Workers’ Compensation system. Alongside a team of psychologists at Sunrise Psychological Services, Dr. McClure offers both Primary Treating Physician and Secondary Treating Physician services to injured workers.
Additionally, Dr. McClure provides assessments and treatment for a limited number of Medicare patients.
Dr. McClure is a member and diplomate of the Academy of Medical Psychologists (AMP) and the California Association of Psychology Providers (CAPP).
